TIMARU. 20th November.
At a meeting of the South- Canterbury Jockey Club last evening, it was decided to accept Mr. Duvall's plan of a grand stand, to be built of blues tone and brick. The programme of the races will b3 issued on the 3rd December. A meeting was called for last night to consider what steps should be taken for holding a regatta in the harbor, but it fell through. This was the second attempt to call a meeting for the same object.
