She leaves this evening for Melbourne via the West Coast. The s.s. Wukatipu left Port Chalmers on the 7th, and Lyttelton at 7.-J5 p.m. on the Bth, arriving here at 12.30 p.m. yesterday. She sailed a'jain at noon to-day for Sydney direct. The s.s. Tarauaki, from Auckland via Tauranga, Gisborne, and Napier, niado our harbor at 12.:-* p.m. yesterday. The schooner Transit loft the Manukau on tho 4th inst., and arrived hero at 3 a.in. yesterday, timber laden. The schooner Julius Vogol, timber laden, from Pelorus Sound, came in yesterday morning. The schooner Ruby arrived at 11 a.m. to-day from Kaikoura. The ketch Catlin, from Bluff Harbor, arrived here this forenoon, having left there on Satnrday last, timber laden. The schooners Kaiuma from Pelorus Sound, and Aurora from East Coast, arrived to-day — the former early this morning, and the latter at 1.30 p.m. The s.s. Napier left here at 10 pan. on Saturday, and arrived at Blenheim at 8.30 a.m. yes* terday. The barque Primera, for London, sailed at 11 a.m. yesterday. The s.s. Claud Hamilton, from Melbourne, should be telegraphed as arriving at Hokitika to-night or early to-morrow. The New Zealand Company's fine ship Orari, now due here from London, is to be their first wool ship of the season. Particulars will be found in another column.
