The Dean won the Randwick Plate, with Robinson Crusoe second. Three started. The s.s. Lord Ashley, from Newcastle to Melbourne, was wrecked last night oft" the coast. All hands were saved. The vessel was insured in the New Zealand Insurance Company for £7000.
