LONDON. Saturday Night. Osman Pasha, who hitherto has occupied a position at Loftscha, on the right flank of the Russian positions, reports two days' desperate fighting at Loftscha, in which the main forces were engaged. The result is as yet undecided. It is estimated that 5000 were killed and 1000 wounded.

When the Resident Magistrate delivered his judgment in the case, he stated that owing to the lateness of the hour (close on midnight), he could not give full expression to his opinion respecting the case, but that he deemed that Mr. Dalrymple, and he alone, was the delinquent, may be gathered from the fact that on Sir. Dalrymple applying to have the verdict made as against the firm his request was refused, and the Residcut Magistrate directed the verdict to be entered against Mr. Dalrymple alone, with order for immediate payment of claim and costs.
