TIMARU. 7th September.
At the Resident Magistrate's Court to-day, Joseph Cockroft, jun., a bankrupt, was charged with uot fully stating his affairs to his creditor's trustee, as to whom he had disposed of a portion of his effects, and for what consideration. He was committed for trial at the criminal sittings of the District Court. John Abboteford Craig was committed for trial at the District Court for obtaining money (£10) by valueless cheques.
