Arrived, 9 a.m. — Tui, from Wellington. 9.30 a.m., Napier, from Wellington. Wanganui, 30th January. Arrived, 12.30 p.m. — Manawatu, from Wellington. Nelson, 30th January. Arrived, 9 a.m.— Taupo, from Picton.— ll a.m., Kennedy, from Wellington. Onehttnga, 30th January, bailed, 9 a.m.— Rotorua, for South. » i. The steamers Manawatu and Stormbird for Wanganui, Taupo for Northern ports, Tui for Foxton, and Kennedy for Nelson and West Coast, sailed last evening. The s.B. Hawea, from Northern ports, arrived in port at half-past 10 o'clock last night. She sailed from the Manukau at 5.20 p.m. on the 26th inst., and arrived oft New Plymouth at 7 a.m. on the 27th; sailed at 9 a.m., and got into Nelson at 11 o'clock same night ; left at 9 a.m. yesterday, and arrived at Picton at 4 p.m. ; sailed at 4.15 p.m., and arrived in harbor as above. Experienced strong westerly winds with heavy sea throughout the passage. The Hawea sailed South at 3 o'clock this aiternoon. The s.s. Easby left Dunedin at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived at Lyttelton at 11 a.m. on Sunday; left again at i.30 p.m., and arrived here at 6.30 this morning. Had squally unsettled weather, but smooth sea throughout. Captain Kennedy reports 5 fore-and-aft schooners, 1 barquentiue, and 1 cutter, lvine in Worser's Bay, windbound. The 8.8. Albion left Melbourne at 10.30 a.m on the 17th, arrived at Hobart Town at 9.80 a.m. on 19th, disembarked and embarked passengers and cargo, and left at 6 p.m. for Millord Sound, arriving there at 3 p.m. on the 23rd I ; made a short stay of three hours, and left for the Bluff, arriving there at 5.30 p.m. on the 25th ; left again at 6 p.m., and arrived at Port Chalmers at 5.15 p.m. on the 26th, which port she left at 4 p.m. on Sunday, arriving at Lyttelton at 9 a.m. yesterday; left again at 6 p.m. same day, and arrived alongside the wharf at noon to-day; had strong westerly gales on the coast. She leaves again tor Sydney and West Coast ports to-morrow.
