The ship Wellington has sailed for London, with 25 passengers, 1576 bales wool, 124 cases and 5G6 casks tallow, 6025 cases meats, 20 bags bones and horns, 5661 bags wheat, 35 boxes sundries, and 4 boxes gold. » The ,s.s. Wellington leaves Lyttelton tomorrow afternoon, and will arrive in Wellington on Friday, sailing for the North at 1 p.m. same day. The s.B. Matau, from Foxton, via Kapiti, arrived in our harbor at 3.30 this n«orning. She left Foxton at 7 o'clock last night, and experienced strong S.E. wind and heavy sea. She returns to Foxton at 3 p.m. to-morrow. The s.s. Ringarooma left Nelson at 6 o'clock last evening, and made our harbor at 6 this morning. She sailed again this afternoon for Melbourne, via the South. The p.s. Manawatu left Wanganui wharf at 6.30 last evening, towed out the schooner Awaroa, and cleared the bar at 7.30, arriving here at 10 o'clock this morning. Had strong southerly breeze with heavy head sea. She sails again for Wanganui to-morrow afternoon, having been postponed in consequence of the wet weather. The s.s. Rangatira sailed at 5.30 p.m. yesterday for the East Coast. The steamer Easby, for Port Chalmers'direct, took her departure from the wharf at 11.55 this morning. The sailing of the Kiwi, for Napier, has been postponed till 2 p.m. on Friday. The sailing of the steamers Napier, for Foxton and Rangitikei, and Stormbird, for VFanganui, has been postponed till to-morrow afternoon. The fine clipper ship William Davie is advertised to sail for London from Port Chalmers on the 30th inst. Cargo from Wellington will be delivered free to the ship at Port Chalmers. Messrs Levin and Co. are Wellington agents. The schooner Kaikoura, from Lyttelton, with a cargo of oats, arrived in our harbor at 9 o'clock this morning. The schooners Ruby and Aurora, which made a start at the latter end of last week — the former for Kaikoura, and the latter for the East Coast— ran back from the Heads this morning/ as they were unable to proceed, in consequence of adverse weather. We are informed by the captain of the Matau that the schooner Kaiuma, which was recently stranded at Kapiti, has been got off, and sailed for Pelorus Sound. The Eliza M'Phee would probably be launched to-day, everything being in readiness yeste-day for doing so. Mr. Compton's schooner Julius Vogel came off Meech's slip j-esterday afternoon. She has been supplied with a new keel, newly coppered, &c. Her rigging is now complete, and will be fitted up in a day or so. She lies alongside the hulk Omega, where her masts will be stepped, and it is expected she will be ready for sea in about a week. Captain Johnson will have command of her.
