The brig Robin Hood beat out of harbor this morning, for Newcastle, but came to an anchor at the Heads, being windbound. The cutter Dido left Blenheim at 7 a.m. yesterday, had strong easterly wind, and arrived in port at 7 this morning. Captain Shilling reports a collier barque in the Strait yesterday, and shortly after passing she carried away her ibre-topgallant mast, there beiug a stiff breeze from the eastward at the time. After the accident to the barque she made for Port Underwood. The Dido did not get close enough to make her name out. The s.s. Ringarooma left Nelson at 10 o'clock last night, and arrived here at 9.40 this morning. Experienced moderate S.E. wind throughout. She sailed again for Melbourne, via the South, at 3.15 this afternoon. Messrs. Beck andTonks' brig Britain's Pride Ib to leave Hobart Town for Wellington and Lyttelton on the 18th of this month. The topsail schooner Young Dick is expected to leave Lyttelton for Wellington to-morrow, with colonial produce for her owners, Messrs. Beck aud Touks. Aft9r discharging she will sail for Uobart Town, about Thursday next. The barque Malay sails for Newcastle on Monday next. The Union Company's s.s. Hawea, Captain Wheeler, arrived at the wharf at 1 p.m. to-day. She left Onehunga at 9.15 a.m. on the 6th, and anchored inside the Heads at 11 a.m. ;* cleared Manukau bar at 8 a.m. on the 7th, and arrived at New Plymouth at 7.3o p.m.;. left same night at 9.20, aud arrived at Nelson at 11 a.m. on the Bth ; left at 8 p.m., and arrived at Picton at 4 this morning ; left at 8.15 a.m., arriving here as above. Experienced fresh southerly breeze to New Plymouth, from thence strong S.E. winds to arrival. She sails South this afternoon. The s.s. Tui, from Rangitikei and Foxton, arrived in harbor at 3.30 this afternoon, having left the latter.portjiiis morning. She goes on the "slip after discharging cargo, to have her bottom cleaned, and sails for Kaikoura and Lyttelton on Monday.
