NOTICE in hereby given tliat the City Council at its meeting on the 2nd instant did make a Rate as above of 4 per cent, upon the annual value of nil properties supplied with water for domestic purposes, and ot one-hall ttiat rate (2 per cent.) upon all properties not supplied with water within the distance ot 100 yards from any wa£er-pipes. Also, a rate ot a, per cunt, upon .Stores and Warehouses. And t io rate-hook, aud the statement of the rate thus made arc now open to the inspection of n iy person interested, or rated in such rate at the City Couueil OiKco. And notice is hereby further given that it any person think himself aggreived on the ground of unfairness or incorrectness in the valuation of'any rateable property included in such assessment, he shall send notice of the same in writing to the Couu'-il, and he may at any time within one month from this date appeal to the Resident Court against the same.
