NAPIER. 30th March.
The Governor arrived at 4 o'clock, and was welcomed by the Mayor, Corporation, Foresters, Hibernian Society, and a large number of the general public. The Corporation and Foresters presented an address, to which the Governor replied. He was heartily received, and will hold a levee to-morrow, and attend a ball in the evening. He stays at the Criterion Hotel. His visit is expected to be only for ten days. .
