NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council at its meeting on the 2nd iastant did make a Rate as above of 4 per cent, upon the annual value of all properties supplied with water for domestic purposes, and of one-half that rate (2 per cent.) upon all properties not supplied with water within the distance of 100 yards from any water-pipes. Also, a rate of •2^ per cent, upon Stores and Warehouses. And the rate-book, and the statement oi" the rate thus made aro now open to the inspection of any person interested, or rated in such rate at the City Council Office. Ajid notice is hereby further given that if any person think himself aggreived on the ground of unfairness ox incorrectness in the valuation of any rateable property included in such assessment, ho shall send notice of the same in writing to the Council, and lie may at any time within onn month from this date appeal to the Resident ?>lagistrate's Court ngainst the same.
