Mr. R. J. Duncan sold yesterday at his auction rooms, Lambton Quay, the following valuable sections of land, &c. : — Lot 1, Nos. 1,2, 3, allotments of town acres 823 to 831 and 833 and 834. were disposed of for £34 an allotment ; j lot 3, Nos. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, fetched £20 each ; lot 4, No. 2p, £33 ; lot 6, Nos. 43, 46, 49, 52, £30 each; lot 6, Nos. 85, 86, 87, £26 each ; lot 7, Nos. 50, 53, £35 each j lot 8, 21 sections, £27 each; lot 9, town acre No. 965, Riddifordstreet, £200 ; lot 2, site and remaining buildings of Empire Hotel were bought by Mr. Jacob Joseph for the sum of £6,300 ; lot 10, town acre 959, Riddiford and Rintoul-streets, £200. Acre No. 333— Section No. 1, 55s per foot; section No. 2, 65s per foot; section Wo. 3, 80s per foot; section No. 5, 45s per foot; section No. 6, 45s per foot ; section No. 7, 47s 6d per foot; section No. 8, 47s 6d per foot; section No. 9, £88 the section. The whole of the sale amounted to the sum total of £8,584 10s.
