The Manawatu's engines worked well, 33 to 35 revolutions per minute. We had a strong head wind fend sea nearly all the way. We sighted the Luna anchored in Otoronga Bay, and arrived at the bar at 4 a.m., and at Wanganui wharf at 8 a,m. +
