Miirray and Gilbert in firing off for second prize in first round each made centres, in second round outers, in third round Murray made a bull's eye, taking second place ; Gilbert, a centre and third prize. Ties at 34— in firing off Captain Murray made a bull'seye, taking fourth prize, the remainuler, except Owen, making centres, Burns an outer. In firing the second round Skinner, and M'Leod made bull's eyes, Chase and' Blatch only centres. M'Leod and skinner in the third round the latter made a bull's , eye, M'Leod only a centre. J. Skinner, therefore, took fifth prize. Much dissatisfaction is expressed by the volunteers at the A.C. men being allowed to compete with them.
