21st May. Lodged 11.35 a.m. Finished 12.15 p.m. The new quarantine buildings were 6nished here yesterday, and handed over by the contractors to Messrs Batbgate, Reynolds, and Macandrew, who, on behalf of the Government,
expressed their great satisfaction at the manner in which the work had been completed, and with regard to ventilation, water supply, and other sanitary arrangements.
