DUNEDIN. 11.55 a.m. The steamer Otago's dates are to the lOfch instant from Melbourne. On the Bth despatches were read in the Assembly, stating that Sir Charles Darling "was reinstated in the Government service, and theiefore could not accept the Victorian grant ; and the crisis is thus terminated. j On the 9th Mr. Fellows moved a vote of supply, which was opposed by Mr. M'Culloch, who moved an amendment to stop all legislation until the formation of a constitutional Ministry ¦was accomplished. The amendment | was carried, and on Thursday the Ministry resigned. M'Culloch was sent for. There is dissension amongst his followers. The exodus from Ballarat to Queensland continues.
