TENNIS CLUB'S , DANCE
For the wind-up of the season, the dance held by the Lakeside Tennis Club on Tuesday evening in the Lakeside Hall was successful from all points of view. There was a good attendance. The club's trophies were presented by the president, Mr G. W. Amyes, to Miss I. Nairn and Mr R. Marshall.
Dabourn's band played for the dancers, and Mr G. W. Amyes and Mr R. Skilling were masters of ceremonies. Extras were played by. Misses L. Lambie and N. Marshall. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss S. Winchester and Mr C. Abbott; a personality Monte Carlo by Miss E. Hampton and Mr R. Patterson; the half-guinea Monte Carlo by Miss N, McMillan and
partner; and a lucky spot waltz by Miss D. Lowery and Mr K. Chambers. The most successful card players were Mesdames W. Nairn and W. Hampton, Messrs A. E. Amyes and W. Husband.
