NEW GUN TURRET IN NOSE

Mass production of the B-24 (Liberator) bomber now includes a new nose turret containing two 50-calibre j (12.5 millimetre) machine-guns, according to an announcement, approved by the United States War Department, from .the Ford Willow Run plant.
