Mr H. Schnelle, on behalf of the Tennis Club, spoke appreciatively of the work done by Miss Amyes as secretary, while Mr Hantz had always been an enthusiastic worker for the club. Both were prominent playing members and had taken part in local tournaments and in representative matches. As they would reside in the district he hoped that they would continue their active association with the club. Mr Schnelle also presented the gifts brought by the residents of the district.
