A woman who collapsed and apparently died during an operation was "restored to life" and lived for four hours after rhythmic compressions of the heart were made. This was" stated at the inquest on Mrs Mary Nuttall, aged fifty-four, of Leigh, Lancashire. "Death by misadventure," was the verdict.
