SOUTHBRIDGE CUP
MATCHES FOR CARDS TROPHY
At Sedgemere last night a match for the cards trophy, the Southbridge Cup, took place between Sedgemere and' Lakeside. The former team was successful, winning by 14 games, the scores being: Sedgemere 31 first round, 34, 32— total 99; Lakeside 29, 26, 28—total S3. Mr J. T. Parkin welcomed the visitors and Mr H. D. Marshall replied on behalf of Lakeside. After supper a dance was held to music played by Mr Reg. Lambie. Recently Sedgemere met Little Rakaia in a cup match, winning by 12 games. The next match in the first round will be played between Little Rakaia and Lakeside.
