AT SOUTHBRIDGE.

ZANE GREY'S "WILD HORSE

MESA."

Zane Grey's Paramount picture, "Wild Horse Mesa," which comes to the Southbridge Town Hall on Saturday evening next, features Randolph Scott and Sally Blanc, the same players who appeared to advantage in the last previous Grey film, "Heritage of the Desert."

This latest of the Zane Grey thrillers is a story of the wild horse country of the old West. The last remnants of these horses, taking refuge in Indian land, have been declared the property of the Indians, and Chane Weymer takes it upon himself to protect the horses from the depredations of a rustler gang. The fight between these two men forms the basis of the story.

In "Wild Horse Mesa" Scott has the role of Chane Weymer, horsetrader and friend of the Indians, who pits his strength against the barbarous thievery of a horse-rustler, Fred Kohler. Miss Blanc is a girl of the West, who is saved from a stampede of wild horses by Chane. In the same cast are Lucille La Verne, £Es a two-fisted woman; Charley Grapewin as Sam Bass, an amusing old seafaring comic; and James Bush as Chane's younger brother.

The first part of the programme, with two comedies entitled "Meet the Champ" and "The Lion and the House'\; a sports-eye-view entitled "Straight Shooters"; and a British Sound News, will also provide firstclass entertainment.
