DOCTOR'S KINDNESS REWARDED.

Forty-five years ago Dr. Herman Hannigan, when practising at Debenham, Suffolk, took into his home a man who was severely injured in the hunting field, and for whom no hospital accommodation could be found.

The doctor forgot the incident; the injured man, Mr Oscar Moorson-Rob-erts, did not. Mr Moorsou-Roberts died in July, leaving an estate uf '£38,721. He directed that £500 should go to the doctor who, he said, had three times saved his life.
