ELLESMERE BEATS KAIAPOI

WIN BY SMALL MARGIN.

The first of the annual inter-Asso-ciation matches between the EUesmere Miniature Rifle Association and the Kaiapoi Miniature Rifle Association was fired on the Rangiora range |on Saturday evening. The teams comprised 30 men a-side, the condikions being the best 27 to be counted, [seven shots and one optional sighter per man. The Ellesmere team won !by two points.
