First Grade.
College 6 v. Southbridge 6. United 9 v. Irwell 8. Dunsandel won from Leeston by default.
Second Grade.
College A 8 v. Irwell 0. Southbridge won from College B by default. Waihora won from Rolleston by default. ' Dunsandel won from Leeston by' default. > The second grade match betweeD the Leeston and Dunsandel teams was actually played, resulting in a win for Leeston by 39 points to 3, but as the Leeston first grade team defaulted, the score was invalid^ and i the official decision is in Dunsandel's favour. The Sub-union's rules do not permit a lower grade team to play than that which is defaulting. The Rolleston team has how defaulted its match for the third week in succession. The Waihora players journeyed to Ratleston only to find that a team was not being fielded; They had received no previous notice from Rolleston. !
