MISS HAUGHTON HONOURED
A pleasant little function took place in the Pioneer Hall, Lincoln, on Friday afternoon, when the children of St. Stephen's Sunday School, with their mothers and a few other friends, assembled to make Miss Haughton, who has recently resigned the superintcndency of the Sunday School, a small presentation. Miss Haughton had been superintendent for the past ten years, but it is 42 years ago since she first began Sunday School work. After the victfr (Eev. A. H. MeC. Acheson) had briefly expressed the reason for their meeting together, Ngaire Stoddart, on behalf of the children and other friends, presented Miss Haughton with a sunshine purse containing some notes. Miss Haughton feelingly replied.
