COMPETITION RESULTS.
FIRST GRADE.-
Playing in the Ellesmere Lawn Tennis Sub-Association's competitions last Saturday, the Dunsandel team defeat ed the Waihora players, at Dunsandel, by ten sets to six. The following were the scores, the names of Dunsandel players being mentioned first:— Men's Singles.—Owers 4 v. Maguinness 9; Wraight 9 v. Gray 4; Maepherson 9 v. Miller 3; Skurr 9 v. Suckling 8. Women's singles.—Miss Dunlop 6v. Mrs Templeton 1; Miss Wright 6 v. Miss Wheeler 5; Miss McKenzie 2 v. Miss Thompson 6; Miss Forster 6 v. Mrs Joblin 2. - Men's doubles.—Owers and Wraight 7 v. Maguinness and Gray g^Macpher^ son and Skurr 9 v. Miller and Suckling 4. Women's doubles.- —Owers and Miss Dunlop 6* v. Maguinness and Mrs Templeton 4; Wraight and Miss Wraight 6 v. Gray and Miss Wheeler 5; Maepherson and Miss McKenzde 5 v. Miller and Miss Thompson 6; Skurr and Miss Forster 3 v. Suckling and Mrs Joblin 6. Totals: Dunsandel, 10 sets; Waihora, 6 sets.
