Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated 21st September, advising Smithfield delivered prices averaged for week ending that date as follows:

Z. ewes, 641b and under, 6d. N.Z. lambs, Canterbury quality, 36 Ib and wnder, l.Ofd; 37/421b, lOfd; 43/ 501b, 9fd; seconds, 9fd. Selected brands 361b and under, 10|d; 34/421b, 10£ d. Other brands, Ist quality, 361b and under, lOd; 37/421b, lOd; second quality, 30/32 average, 9fd. N.Z. beef: Ox fores 3|d, ox hinds 5Jd; cow fores 3sd, cow hinds s£d. Argentine chilled-beef: Ox fores 2|d, ox hinds 71d. Frozen pork: Porkers, 60/801b Bd, 81/991b 7id, 100/1201b 7Jd; baeoners, 121/1801b, 7id. Lamb.—Market is quiet. Mutton.—Wethers: Market quiet and unchanged. Ewes: There is no changß in market. Beef.—Market is depressed owing to large, stocks of Australian beef. N.Z.
