ME. AND MRS F, COOP'S
HOSPITALITY.
A delightful evening was spent at Kaituna on Thursday, when Mr F. Coop (president of the Waihora Football Club) and Mrs Coop entertained | the members of the senior team —winners of the shield in the Ellesmere Sub-union—and their lady friends. Dancing took place on the spacious verandah, which was gaily decorated with streamers and balloons, whilst those who were less energetically inclined took part in progressive euchre and competitions. A dainty supper was served in the dining Topm. During tne evening, Mr Gr. Templeton returned thanks to Mr and Mrs * Coop for the services they had rendered to.the Club in the past, and on behalf of the members, presented them with a beautiful crystal set of water jug and* tumblers, as a slight token of appreciation. Musical honours were the host and hostess. Musical items were contributed by Messrs F. Chapman and Douglas Suckling.
