Friends of Mr G. F.. Simpson, of Southbridge, will be glad to hear that he is making a good recovery after his recent operation. Tomorrow Plunket Nurse Wilson will give demonstrations at Southbridge and Leeston on the making of humanised milk and will speak on the value of milk as a food for children. On Friday night next, at 7/30, a children's social will be held in the Church of England Parish Hall, Leeston. All children are cordially 'invited. Admission is by silver coin or toy and the proceeds will go to the bazaar bran tub.
