On 22ud April a special passenger train will leave Christchurch for Lceston at 9 a.m., Hornby 9.23, Lincoln 9.48. and arrive Leeston 10.25 a.m. It returns leaving Leeston at 6.25 p.m. and arrives Christchurch 7.45 p.m. These trains will stop where required to pick up and set down passengers, • : —" fi ' \ SPRINGS-ELLESMERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC. The Main lines from Lincoln to the Selwyn Sub-station are now live wires both day and1 night. All other lines will be live wires between the hours of 5 p.m. and.7 a.m. daily, except on Fridays when the current will be cut off between 7 a.m. and 10 .p.m. Anyone felling or cutting trees near the lines will incur serious danger to life should they accidentally or otherwise come into contact with the lines, or drop trees or branches across the lines. The Board will not accept any responsibility if accidents should occur in such cases.
