LEESTON.
The Leeston Red Cross Branch desire to acknowledge the following articles:—Mrs Halliday 200 medical cloths, Mrs H. M. Hay 2 pairs mittens, Mrs Jas. Oliver old linen, Miss Gibb stationery outfit, Mrs J. Barnett scarf, 6 face cloths.
A box containing the following bandages made by Mrs Volckman has been forwarded to the Red Cross depot :—Flannel 21, Nainsook 14, calico 215, flannelette 18, non-inflammable 18. Cash contributions : —Mrs J. Barnett ss, anonymous ss, O. Derrett£r, Cinderella Assembly (per Mr Lance Carter) £5 ios. The Branch are very much indebted to the following committee who are holding fortnightly socials.—T. J. Ramsey, C. Jones, J. Purser, J, McManus, A. McMillan, C. Fisse, and G. Harper, The committee has already handed in ths/sum of £30.
