On Thursday, Sept. 30, a meeting of the Irwell Red Cross Guild was held in the Schoolroom. There was a good attendence of ladies. Work was distributed and a good number of articles were handed in. Mrs 3.9 .ffl! frfHftM to B»iW will;
a rubber stamp, so that all articles I could be marked. The following; articles were sent to the depot: —2 dressing gowns, 3 Ceylon nightshirts, 7 day shirts, 4 night shirts 7 flannel under-vests, 3 pairs underpants, 6 pairs socks, 1 Balaclava, 20 face cloths, 50 medicine cloths, 2 operation-cloths.
