Dunsandel Flower Show.

— -• The annual Horticultural Show was held, at the Dunsandel Towr Hall on Thursday afternoon. There was a good attendance during the day, and m the evening the numbers were further augmented. Notwithstanding the bad weather m the district lately, the blooms m most of the classes were exquisite. The committee worked indefatigably to _ make the Show a success, and the secretary, Mr T Irvine, is to be heartily congratulated on the excellent arrangements. In the evening a promenade concert was held, and several ladies and gentleman submitted vocal and instrumental items. -In connection with the Show there were hat-trimming competition for gentlemen, nail-driving competition for ladies and ,a shooting gallery besides weight guessing for sheep and potato guessing.
