ME JOHN HENRY, ASHBURTON
Mr John Hen^y, father of the wife of the licensee of the Southbridge Hotel, passed away at the house of his son-in-law, Mr A. J. Muller, Ashburton, last week. Mr Henry was a native of Coupor Angus, Scotland, and came to Canterbury m 1863. The deceased was licensee of the Commercial Hotel at Ashburton for some years, and while m this position made himself deservedly popular.
