Schools Re-open The health restrictions have been lifted from to-day and the schools will re-open on March 4th W D F.U. The annual meeting of the Clyde Branch of the W.D.F.U* is to be held on Friday, March Ist Attention is drawn to tnfl fact that the meeting is to be held in the Bowling Pavilion. Fruit Traffic The Fruit Train on Saturday took away IQ tons of fruit from Clyde. The total weight of the ■ consignments for last week was !68 tons. l • Tenders ! Tenders are invited by the .Vincent County Council for a gravelling contract on the j Queensberry - Wanaka Main j Highway. i T^nui ß I The Clyde £? team, although | defeated, had an enjoyable I match at Lowburn on Saturday. | The scores will appear next issue. On March 2nd Dunedin will play Vincent at Clyde. Cards There was an excellent attendance at the card tourney in the Bowling Pavilion on Saturday night, when the winners jyere Mrs Harris and Mr Ralph Wilson. A Reminder ! A meeting of the Horticultural Society is called for 7-30 on Thursday ni^ht.
