—At Burnside— CATTLE Values to £24 2 6 Sbeep Prices Better. Wethers to 45s Od The yarding of fat cattle was 360 consisting of some good sorts, the quality of the fat bullocks being very good. Prices were about 20s to 25s per head higher for cattle than last week’s sale There was a yarding of 2490 Fat Sheep, the offering being a fair one, with a few pens of good sheep* Competition was fairly keen throughout & there was a drop on last week's prices of from Is to 2s per head for wethers. Fat cattle sold at : best bullocks up to £24 2s 6d, prime £l9 7s 6d to £2l 7s 6d light to medium £8 17s 6d to £lB 7s 6d, cows and heifers brought to £l4 7s 6d, medium to prime £8 17s 6d to £l3 2s 6d Dairy Cows—a fair class-* £7 to £l2 Os. Sheep Extra prime wethers to 45s Od, prime wethers 37s to 40s 6d, medium 30s 6d to 35s 6d, light from 39s , extra ewes 295, prime 24s Od to 27s Od. medium and light 18s to 22s 64* Pigs—The yarding of fat pigs was a fairly large one. Prices were good and up Is on last weeks. Best pigs made up to £8 0, others from £6 6s. Weaners 21s to 325, slips 32s 6d to 40s, stores 34s to 565.
