ERASER DAM AUTHORISED
Word was received, by Mr Bodkin M. P. on Thursday evening last that authority had been given for the erection of the Fraser River Dam. The estimated cost is £45,000 and We understand that work is to commence at once on the road which is to be made over the hill in the vicinity of Red bank, near the Scenic Reserve. Residents are naturally delighted at this good news, as there is no doubt that it should mean the dawn of better times for the whole district.
