Fowl wheat is offering Ireely, but tin re ia steady demand Irom shippcs and apart from pool controlled tines, there is very tittle good whole quality held in local stores. Current value is 5s 7d per bushel ex store. CHAFF — Consignments have been coming to hand Ireely irom Central Otago with occasional trucks Irom (Southland. There is a fair demand for prime quality, but buyers of truck lots are few and lar between and a lair number of recent consignments have had to be taken into store. Values remain at £5 per ton ex truck and £5 15 ex store for small lots of prune quality. POTATOES There has been a rather better demand during the last week or two and store slocks arc now beginning to get down to more reasonable proportions. The demand, however, is only for picked lines at which sales are being made at from £5 to «££' 10s per ton.
