The annual picnic and sports was held on Friday last in Mrs Stafford’s paddock, an ideal picnic ground which was granted by Mrs Stafford for the occasion, and in glorious sunshine a very happy and pleasant time was spent by the children and parents. The School Committee, assisted by Mr J. Wroblenski as handicapper, arranged an all day sports programme, which resulted as follows: Boys race, 5 and 6 years: Reg Williams 1, Bobby Parnell 2.
