i'he fact that Mr Geo- Larking jr has returned to Clyde will be welcome news to his friends and particularly to the local football clubThe Clyde-Earnscleugh Club had a useful practice on Saturday when about twenty players took part. A meeting of the Tapanui Foot ball Club was held last week to discuss a notice of motion from the Waikaka Club re weight limit for juniors, viz, lost 4lbs. After considerable discussion in which the feeling of the meeting was against the motion it w r as decided to leave the matter in the hands of the Sub-union delegates. AVales defeated France by 11 points to 0. England thus wins the championship.
