WOMAN HALE AT 104.
Reputed to be the oldest person living iii the Eastern Counties of England, Mrs. Elizabeth Easier, of South I’rimroso Hill, Chelmsford, became 101 the other day. Three ol her eight children arc living, and there are 35 grandchildren. 59 great-grandchildren, ami four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs Easier had her hair bobbed when she was 102, and it has been kept bobbed ever since. In an interview Mrs Easier declared. “I am horrified at th e short skirts the girls wear these days, hut 1 think hair hohhing is a most sensible tiling. il only somebody bad thought about it when I was a girl what trouble it would have saved me. but I am making up for it in my old age.” Mrs Easler’s husband died in 1915 aged 87.
