MARKET REPORT
a _ Messrs Dalgety & Co. Ltd. report as follows: — OATS. Very little business is being done in Oats. The shipping demand has eased slightly and A grade are now quoted at 2slld F.o.b.s.i. which is equal to about 3s on trucks to the farmer, With the comparatively small quantity of oats now available in Otago farmers are not inclined to sell at this price and in most cases are getting more for feed purposes in their own districts. Millers are not keen buyers but heavy oats of Milling quality are still saleable at 3sid on trucks. WHEAT. There is little wheat left in the country, but a few lines are still held in stores. Millers are at present working off their stocks and are not buying. Later on they will no doubt draw upon the supplies held locally. Prices remain unchanged as follows:—Tuscan ssod, Hunters 6s Velvet 6s6d on trucks, sacks extrr. Ample supply of fowl wheat available and the demand is slow.
