CORRESPONDENCE.
To the Editor. Sir; I have been requested to make an appeal on behalf of the disabled soldiers in the Montecillo Home, Dunedin, for rabbitskins. There are a number of returned men in the Home all very seriously disabled. They are taught basket work, leather work, etc., etc., and practically their only source of pocket money is the amount they receive from the sale of the various articles they make, such as slippers, baskets, purses, clocks, £etc., the materials for which they have to pay for themselves. They use frabbitskins for the lining of slippers, two skins being required for each pair. I will forward any skins sent in to me, or, if preferred,- they can be railed direct, carriage forward, to the Montecillo Home, Dunedin. I am, etc. G. F. Fox, Alexandra, July Bth.
