There was an amusing scene at the London Sessions recently. A sovereign used as evidence in ai case was handed to the judge (Sir Robert Wallace!, counsel, and the jury, and when the trial was over the coin was missin;-; The Court suspended its work while the barristers' and members of the jury searched diligently for the sovereign, but it could not be found.
