FORBIDDEN SONG
PARIS, March 3. Signor Mussolini is said to bo annoyed because in the Noctambules night cabaret in Paris a comedian sings a song about him which apparently shores lack of respect.
The singer is Auguste Martini, and the song is entitled, “Mussolini, you are going too strong.” A police official called at the Noctambules on behalf of the Italian Embassy to ask the proprietor and the singer to take this song out of the programme.
Martini refused, and now the announcement of his song is followed by the words, “Forbidden by tbc Italian Embassy.”
In tbo wild country between the Congo and Senegal there still remain a few tribes where slavery and cannibalism still reign supreme. A white mission has gone to emancipate the last of the slaves.
