The Otago Centrals Cclitre’s Champion of Champions Competition was played at Clyde on Saturday under perfect weather conditions, and a good green. Six clubs were represented. The competition was played on the two life system, and finished in good time. Results— First round* Breinner (Naseby) beat Tough (Boxburgh). Mann (Cromwell) beat Black (Alexandra), Robertson (Bannockburn) beat Holt (Clyde). Second round. Mann beat Holt Robertson beat Breinuer Black beat Tough. Third Bound. Black beat Bremner Robertson beat Mann. Fourth Round. Black beat Robertson. Mann a bye. Fifth Round. Mann beat Black. Robertson a bye. Final. * Mann beat Robertson. ‘ Mr \V. K. George (president of the Centre) presented the Harraway-Besi Shield and the Peters Medal to the winner, congratulating him on his win, and also Mr Robertson on his performance as runner-up. Mr '• aim in replying complimented the Clyde Club 01. the excellent state ot the green.
