Local sports will be glad to learn that the Railway Department has agreed to run a special train service in connection with the Vincent races. A train will leave Dunedin on Friday morning (the day prior to the races) conveying the horses; and will run daily to and fro from Cromwell to Omakau. The train will remain here for the Cromwell races supplying a similar service.
