Mr Cyrus Curtis, the controller of the Saturday Evening Post, the American weekly paper with the largest circulation" of any periodical in the world, and the Ladies' Home Journal, the most successful woman's magazine in the world, has been paying a visit to London, and during his stay gave some interesting information to Mr Londlotn, the gossip writer of the Daily Graphic. The charge for a full-page advertisement in the Saturday Evening Post is 7500 dollars, and the total revenue from advertisements in the two papers mentioned and in the Country Gentleman, also under Mr Curtis' control, is more than 50,000,000 dollars a year. He has been paid as much as 1,000,000 dollars for one advertising contract.
