I Special Order Authorising Raising OF a Loan of .65300. Pursuant to the provisions of "The Counties Act 1920" NOTICE is hereby given that at the Meeting of the Vincent Couniy Council, held on the 27th September, 1922, the following I resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on the 25th October, 1922, at 10 o'clock a. m., at the Council Chambers at Clyde. RESOLUTION. Pursuant to the powers vested in it bv "The Local Bodies Finance Act 1921-22" the Vincent County Council hereby resolves that this resolution may be confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council and operate as a Special Order to raise a loan of £5300 for the purpose of paying off to that extent its Antecedent Liability as defined by the said Local Bodies Finance Act 1921-22, the provision for the repayment of the balance having been provided for by other means. That the security for the interest and sinking fund for the repayment of the said loan ol ,£5 ]oo be a- Special annual recurring rate ol One Seventh of a Penny in the Pound upon the rateable value of all rateable properties within the Vincent County, and of its assets generally for the payment of the debentures and coupons issued in respect ofsuch loan. That the currency of the said loan of be ten (10) years from the ist day of November, 1922. That a sinking fund of 10 per cent per annum on the amount raised from time to time be established in connection with the said loan and that the amount of such sinking fund be paid to the sinking fund Commissioners to be appointed for that purpose on the first day of November in each year during the currency of the loan, or until the loan is fully paid off, of which sinking fund the first payment shall be made on the ist day of November, 1923. That the said loan of be raised by the issue of debentures under "The Local Bodies Loans Act 1913" and bear interest at the rate of 6 per centum per annum, (or such other rate of interest as may be prescribed by the Governor General in terms of The Finance Act 1921), payable half-yearly on the ist day of May and the ist November in each and every year during the currency of such loan or until such loan is fully paid off, and the coupons be annexed to each such debenture accordingly, and the said debentures and coupons be payable at the Vincent County Councils Office, Clyde, subject, however to any variation in the place of payment that may be mutually arranged. That the County Seal be affixed to all such debentures and that all such debentures and coupons be signed by the Chairman and countersigned by the Clerk, but so tjiat their respeative signatures to the coupons may be lithographed on the coupons.
